Dave stands for Dave's Angling Vocational Experience

At Dave the Fishpimp’s Bass Fishing Guide Service we provide angling experiences in the fresh water rivers and lakes of Maryland and Virginia. We specialize in largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing. I will take you and a guest on a bass fishing trip that will be fun, educational, and memorable. Call me at 443-542-7609 to schedule a trip.

Scheduling a trip is easy:

Contact me (443-542-7609) with a date and I will confirm if available. For a full or half day trip a $50 cash non-refundable deposit is required at the ramp before the day begins. Please give me at least 5 days’ notice, in advance, if a trip needs to be cancelled/rescheduled.

I help experienced and beginners alike to reach their goals of catching fish. I let you catch the fish. Not watch me. I take care of your needs, and do everything to help you catch fish. I fish to demonstrate techniques and to establish a pattern, but you will catch the fish. I will take the time to teach you.

I practice catch, photo, and release, with the proper measurements, and a few good photos, you can have a reproduction that will preserve your catch for years to come!

WHAT YOU CAN BRING!
I am a complete guide service, however there are some things that you will need to bring with you. I recommend that you bring the following:

  • A Camera - The lakes and rivers are very scenic and historic.  Expect to see bald eagles, deer, fox squirrels, and historical landmarks up and down the river. We can take a picture of your fish, and post it on our web site.
  • Sun Block - The sun can be intense on the water. Be sure to use the appropriate SPF for your skin tone.
  • Polarized Sunglasses - Eyewear protects you from the sun and from the wind while we are underway!
  • Attire - It's always a good idea to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. Call for weather conditions. A hat is a must…glare and warmth.
  • Your own Rod or Reels - I do provide spinning and bait casters; however, if you would like to bring your own rods, or just your reel, and use my rods, that would be fine. You are responsible for lost or broken rods and reels.
  • Food and Beverages- We DO NOT provide food or beverages. Highly suggest you bring bottled water.

Bring your own.... small soft sided coolers are best...freezing bottles of water will save space and replace the need for ice...Please DO NOT bring alcohol.
